As you can see, I have left out the actual version number of the next release, let me explain myself. I have this problem with version numbers, I always write more that I say I will and then I have to make a bigger version number. So...I am going to tell you what will be coming up, instead of what's next. Although this may seem vague, it allows me to add a ton of features into Merchant! without feeling obligated to release some stupid halfway version. Get the idea? Good, now let's talk about what's coming up...
Multiple Ships! That's right, the file is there, but the commands aren't. Ships will be run like Races, users can design and customize their own ship by varying different attribute. Each attributed that is added or subtracted from the basic line of ship costs more or less. This ought to be cool. (The ships are in v0.50b1, you just can't buy them yet.)
With planets come ports! Yes, you *will* be able to create your own ports in the future!
Beacons and mines will be allowed to be bought and placed in sectors.
Teams will be implemented.
Aliens and Karagenti!!! (Again, they're in there, they just don't do anything yet.)
Various other stuff will be in there too.
Okay, so we know what will be coming, we don't know in what order, but who says order is important? Not I! I promise that I will get that stuff in, and in soon, too! Any suggestions should be directed to...
